About Black Youth Project
The Black Youth Project (#BYP) is a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and ideas of young Black millennials. As the preeminent research body for survey and respondent data concerning Black Americans ages 18-30, #BYP sheds light on the attitudes, resources, and culture of urban Black millennials. Through extensive research, they explore how these factors influence their decision-making, norms, and behavior in critical domains such as sex, health, and politics.
#BYP also provides a space on the internet where Black youth can freely express their perspectives on issues that concern them, without censorship or control. Working closely with their activist organization, BYP 100, #BYP aims to mobilize Black youth and their allies to create positive change and build the world in which they want to live.
