About Blätterdach e.V.
Blätterdach e.V. is a parent association based in the Kutzenhausen area of Germany that operates a nature-focused kindergarten for children from two and a half years old until they start school. Established in May 2021, its forest kindergarten is located in Rommelsried, a village within the municipality of Kutzenhausen. The association describes its approach as attentive, child-centered care that supports children’s growth through time in nature.
The kindergarten is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Families interested in a place can submit a non-binding pre-registration; the team then arranges a visit, answers questions and, where appropriate, discusses admission. Blätterdach also welcomes interns and seeks volunteers through Germany’s Federal Volunteer Service. The association is planning an afternoon and holiday program for school-aged children, particularly for those with experience in school-age care or all-day programs. Its website also features information about parent-child and forest playgroup offerings, alongside details about the team, enrollment, membership and current news.
