Blå Grodan is a small and intimate preschool located in Traneberg, offering a nature-oriented learning environment. With a maximum capacity of 25 children ages 1 to 5 years old, we prioritize creating a safe, creative, and stimulating space where each child's individual needs and development are seen and nurtured.

Situated in the scenic area of Johannelund in Bromma, our preschool is surrounded by lush gardens, meadows, forests, and water. We are conveniently located near Traneberg, Minneberg, Ulvsunda, Johannesfred, and Stora Mossen. Nature plays a vital role in our daily activities, allowing children to explore and engage with their surroundings.

At Blå Grodan, our vision focuses on promoting health and well-being. We emphasize physical activity, outdoor play, and a sense of security. We encourage children's curiosity and provide ample opportunities for them to explore various materials and environments. Our educational activities prioritize nature knowledge and language development.

In addition, we prioritize the health and welfare of our children through our kitchen. Our chef prepares nutritious meals from scratch, using locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. We aim to expose children to diverse culinary cultures and cultivate their understanding of sustainable development.

As a parent cooperative, Blå Grodan offers parents the chance to actively participate in and contribute to the operation of the preschool. We also adhere to Stockholm City's regulated opening hours (06:30-18:30), with specific hours determined by the children's attendance.
