The terroir has proven to be ideal for the cultivation of bush vine vineyards and for crafting exceptional wines.

Blake Family Wines is a boutique winery located in the picturesque Yzerfontein, on the Cape West Coast. With a strong focus on producing top-quality, family-crafted boutique wines, owners Andries & Marinda Blake are dedicated to creating exceptional wines. Their range includes premium wines under the "Blake's" brand, as well as a lifestyle selection called "16 Mile Beach". The wines are carefully nurtured and crafted, with two flagship blends named after semi-precious stones - Amethyst and Tourmaline.
Andries, an acclaimed winemaker with over three decades of experience, is known for his expertise in sourcing top-quality grapes from the heart of the Swartland, where the terroir is ideal for the cultivation of bush vine vineyards. The small winery has recently opened its doors to the public, offering wine tastings and a delightful food experience.
