With extensive experience in agricultural policy, DeShawn has served in significant roles, including senior policy staff in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has championed issues like farm credit, local food systems, organic agriculture, and rural development. He is also the President and Founding Partner of AgQuity Solutions, a consulting firm that offers strategic advocacy support on agricultural and environmental matters.
