La Croix Bleue de Belgique is a dedicated organization celebrating nearly a century of commitment to animal welfare and nature conservation. Established as a non-profit association, it provides crucial support through various services including animal shelters located in Wommelgem, Forest, and Floriffoux. These refuges care for stray animals, assist with the recovery of deceased animals, and promote sterilization campaigns to manage the animal population responsibly.
In addition to shelter services, La Croix Bleue offers educational activities, welcoming visitors to learn about refugee operations and animal care. The Floriffoux location features six seminar rooms available for rental, making it an ideal choice for hosting events.
La Croix Bleue relies heavily on community support and encourages contributions such as donations, membership sign-ups, and sponsorships to continue their mission. As they approach their centenary in June 2025, the organization is eager to engage the public further and raise awareness about the importance of animal welfare and environmental protection.
