Blauwe Hengst

Blauwe Hengst is an equine education and treatment centre focused on natural horse care, with specialisms in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and natural nutrition informed by clinical psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunology (kPNI). The organisation offers horse owners and professionals practical ways to understand and support equine wellbeing, drawing on scientific research and naturopathic approaches.

Its educational programme includes online courses, themed study days, practical workshops, professional training and continuing education. Topics range from equine nutrition, insulin resistance, injuries and recovery to chronic progressive lymphedema (CPL), gemmotherapy and lymphatic techniques. Blauwe Hengst also provides training in equine MLD, orthomolecular approaches and related specialisms, with options for both foundational and advanced study.

For individual horses, the centre offers lymphatic drainage treatments and tailored nutrition advice, including consultations in person or by phone and follow-up support. Its approach recognises that each horse is different, and that suitable nutrition depends on the animal’s specific circumstances. Blauwe Hengst emphasises practical learning, experienced instructors and personal guidance for students and clients.
