Ytmp3 is an online service for searching YouTube recordings and accessing audio or video conversion options. Users can enter keywords, such as a song title and artist, or paste a YouTube watch, shortened, or embed link to find a candidate recording. The site also features trending titles as a starting point, while advising users to check the selected result for the correct version, including live performances, remixes, or alternate recordings.

For supported sources, Ytmp3 offers YouTube to MP3 and YouTube to MP4 options, along with a browser-based download workflow. Available outputs may vary depending on the source and conversion provider, and users need to wait for the browser transfer to finish before looking for a saved file. Manual pasting is available for visitors who do not use clipboard access.

The site provides multilingual navigation and a blog covering file handling and download questions, including guidance for Android and Apple devices.
