Blind Cricket Aus

Blind Cricket New South Wales (BCNSW) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to promoting and expanding the sport of blind cricket within the state. Operating under the auspices of Blind Cricket Australia, BCNSW serves a dual purpose: to foster competitive play and to provide recreational opportunities for individuals with vision impairments. The organization oversees two teams that compete in the domestic league, with cricket seasons typically running from September to April.

BCNSW’s objectives include raising funds for the development of blind cricket, integrating the sport within the wider community, and attracting new members, including juniors, through innovative outreach strategies. Each year, BCNSW curates a representative side to participate in the National Cricket Inclusion Championships held in Geelong, ensuring a platform for players to engage at both national and international levels. With a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment, BCNSW emphasizes the social and competitive aspects of cricket for individuals with vision impairments, truly embodying the slogan, "Keeping an eye out for YOU!"
