Blind River Bar is a seasonal waterfront destination in Maurepas, Louisiana, where Blind River meets the surrounding bayou waterways. Accessible only by boat or seaplane, it has welcomed visitors since 1983 and, under new ownership since 2017, pairs its original character with family-friendly features and a lively calendar. Open from late March through early fall, the bar serves Southern-inspired food, including burgers, seafood, appetizers, and bar bites, alongside cocktails and other drinks.
Guests can visit for live music, holiday gatherings, private events, or a relaxed stop on the water. Families can enjoy the splash pad, while overnight visitors can book secluded cabins with porches overlooking the swamp, suited to fishing, boating, and unwinding.
