Blip is a self-custody wallet for iPhone designed to make Quai digital currency practical for everyday payments. Its focus is peer-to-peer money: users can buy, hold, send, receive, and swap supported assets without creating an account. The app supports Quai (QUAI), the privacy-oriented Qi token, and Tether (USDT). Users can fund a wallet with Apple Pay, a debit card, or another cryptocurrency, with purchases routed through Stripe and ChangeHero.
Blip also offers payment requests through shareable links, allowing someone to pay with a card or Blip without installing the app. For in-person spending, users can top up a Zebec Carbon card with QUAI and pay wherever Mastercard is accepted, including through Apple Pay. Blip describes Qi as a flatcoin backed by mining energy and designed for private transactions. Security is built around self-custody: keys are encrypted on the iPhone, protected by Face ID, and recoverable using a twelve-word phrase. The app is free to download; network and card-processing fees may apply.
