Blitz Basketball is a youth basketball organization based in Hamilton, Ontario, focused on helping young athletes develop their skills, fitness, sportsmanship, and leadership in a positive, supportive environment. Its programs welcome participants from beginners to competitive players, with options for children and teens across a range of ages and experience levels.
The organization offers House League basketball in several formats, including boys’ and girls’ leagues and 3v3 play, with age divisions spanning approximately 5 to 18 years. Players seeking a more competitive experience can try out for Rep teams, which practise at least twice a week during the season and compete in games and tournaments, including events that may involve travel. Rep fees cover essentials such as uniforms, practices, games, tournaments, and insurance; players also receive 10 training sessions through IBSA Basketball.
Blitz Basketball also runs summer skills camps, March Break camps, clinics, and a Prep for Rep camp. These programs combine fundamental skill development, training, and gameplay at locations in Binbrook, Ancaster, and Hamilton.
