Blivande is a place for participatory culture & organisations in Frihamnen, Stockholm. A homegrown community full of people who dream, aspire and want to feel at home, all existing within the Blivande ecosystem. This ecosystem consists of 3 main parts. 1. Our participatory workspace Studio Beta is an office at the heart of a community. Comprised of highly passionate working individuals from a wealth of different backgrounds and cultures, Studio Beta offers everyone a place to call their home away from home. You can even register your company here and get your mail to House Blivande. 2. Studio Tau is a community driven art & maker space dedicated to letting you craft your minds work. Settled within a supportive environment and driven by the ethos of participatory culture, we at Tau encourage you to share your ideas & passions. Who knows what kind of projects you might end up sliding into. 3. Frihamnstorget is a colorful container village outside of House Blivande, open to your initiative. It is constantly evolving entity, a place for creative innovation and open to your initiative. With no single person, board or committee calling the shots, we invite you, to make proposals, draft plans & work together with the community to realise your vision. Blivande is an experiment in stewarding and cultivating a self-sustaining ecosystem, and our goal is to develop it into a model that can be replicated. We are joined in this experiment by kindred communities around the world, with whom we collaborate both formally and informally. We develop methodologies and tools and cross-reference with other initiatives to learn and level up together.
