Bliżej Świata

Bliżej Świata is a Lublin-based association of parents and friends of blind and visually impaired children. Bringing together families and professionals, it supports children, young people and adults with visual impairments as they develop independence, access education and participate fully in society. The association also helps parents navigate the challenges of supporting a child with a visual impairment through legal and educational guidance, psychological support and opportunities to connect with other families.

Its services include individual and group activities that build practical daily-living skills and spatial orientation. Participants can also receive sensory integration and hand therapy, as well as training in computer use and assistive software. The association offers hippotherapy and dog-assisted therapy to support physical, emotional and social development. Its work also includes supporting medical care, rehabilitation and access to education in Lublin. Through these services and its community network, Bliżej Świata aims to help people with visual impairments build confidence, strengthen their abilities and lead more independent lives.
