Block Barock is a bouldering gym in Fulda, just a few minutes from the city centre. Across 1,800 square metres, it offers climbing challenges for beginners, experienced climbers and professionals, with routes in both indoor and outdoor areas. New boulders are set every week, and the range of difficulty levels makes it easy for visitors to find a suitable challenge.
Bouldering is rope-free climbing at a low height, with padded landing zones; visitors need no specialist equipment or belaying skills. Suitable climbing shoes are required and can be rented at the gym. Block Barock is open daily from 10 a.
m. to 11 p. m., although hours may vary on public holidays, and no advance booking is needed.
The venue also offers courses, events, children’s birthday parties and programmes for children and young people. Its Bistro Barock welcomes climbers and other visitors, with coffee, pizza, beer and other refreshments, plus communal tables, lounge seating, an outdoor terrace, free Wi-Fi and a billiards table
