The bank unveiled a new logo and visual brand identity.

"As part of the new corporate strategy, it was important to no longer just focus on being cheap and 'different,' but to formulate our own clear and differentiating values and make them noticeable and measurable in performance on the market." as said on the Hotz Brand Consultants page about the change.

Founded in 1958 by Gottlieb Duttweiler, Migros Bank is a Swiss bank headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, the bank has 67 branches all over the country. The banking company offers a range of services from loans and mortgages to stock investments.

The company has gained numerous achievements in the previous decades. Migros Bank had an option to provide cashless payment in 1987, way before the introduction of the EC card to the public. It also joined the Swiss Bankers’ Association in 2000. In 2005, Migros became the first bank company in the country to introduce a ticket fee when it comes to stock exchange transactions and make all fees the same amount regardless of the type of transaction.

In July 2022, Migros launched a new credit card called the Cumulus card and recently has plans to remove their credit card fee due to the Swiss National Bank raising its interest rate from -0.25% to 0.5%.
