About Blok Bims
BlokBims Madencilik A.Ş., Turkey's largest facility dedicated to the production of pumice blocks and lightweight aggregate materials, operates in accordance with TSE standards and holds ISO 9001-2000 certification. Situated in Nevşehir, the company specializes in mining and manufacturing high-quality pumice, which is a volcanic rock known for its unique, porous structure and durability against physical and chemical impacts.
With a vast reserve of approximately 9 billion cubic meters in Central and Eastern Anatolia, BlokBims processes pumice mined from licensed open pits. The facility utilizes this raw material for a wide range of products including pumice blocks, raw and processed pumice for various applications.
By entering international markets since 2007, BlokBims exports its products to 41 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the USA.
