Blood From The Soul

Blood From The Soul is a groundbreaking musical project led by legendary musician Shane Embury, renowned for his role in the influential grindcore band Napalm Death. Established in the early 1990s, Blood From The Soul first gained recognition with their debut album "To Spite the Gland That Breeds," an innovative blend of industrial, metal, hardcore, and punk that helped lay the groundwork for the industrial-metal movement alongside bands like Godflesh and Scorn.

After a long hiatus, Blood From The Soul re-emerged in 2020, revitalizing their sound with an impressive lineup that includes notable artists Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth), Jacob Bannon (Converge), and Jesper Liveröd (Nasum). Their latest release, "DSM-5," is a conceptual twelve-track album that delves into themes of consciousness and the human condition amidst the challenges of modern life. The album features intense instrumentation, razor-sharp percussion, and powerful vocals, crafting a soundscape that is both dystopian and thought-provoking. With exceptional production overseen by industry veterans, Blood From The Soul continues to push the boundaries of heavy music.
