About BLTV
Bayerischer Landestauchsportverband e.V. (BLTV) is the Bavarian state association for diving sports, supporting clubs, instructors and divers through training, events and information. Its website shares association news, practical updates and opportunities for members, including an annual membership notice for clubs. The BLTV works in connection with the VDST, the German diving federation, and hosts instructor training and examinations as well as specialist courses for recreational and technical diving.
Its programme includes qualifications and workshops such as Advanced Skill Diver, freshwater biology, dive safety and rescue, night diving, freediving instructor training, and courses for closed-circuit rebreather and trimix divers. The association also offers instructor development, including TL1 and TL2 theory and practical training, and publishes blogs documenting examinations and training trips. In addition to education, BLTV highlights club achievements and competitive diving, including league results and promotion news. Its calendar also lists activities such as a sea boating licence course and an eTrainer session. Through these services and community updates, BLTV helps connect and support Bavaria’s diving community.
