About Blue Africa Summit
Blue Africa Summit is an esteemed event held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, making strides in charting the future of Africa's maritime landscape. The inaugural edition, hosted in Tanger on November 16 and 17, 2023, brought together key players to address crucial issues in the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Indian basins by 2030. The event's impact was underscored by the historic "Tanger Declaration," signed by representatives from twenty-six nations, emphasizing the vital role of maritime trade in Africa's growth.
Building on this success, the second edition is set to take place on October 9 and 10, 2024, in Tanger, fostering even deeper connections between Africa and global partners. Additionally, the organizers have been tasked with facilitating a regional consultation day for the United Nations Ocean Conference in June 2025. Join us in this transformative journey as we shape a connected future for Africa and beyond
