About Blueberry Country Limited
Blueberry Country Ltd | Ohaupo is New Zealand's largest blueberry orchard and a family business located in the beautiful and fertile Waikato region. With 400 acres (160 hectares) currently in production, they grow, harvest, and pack fresh and frozen blueberries. During the summer season from early December to late February, you can visit their orchards in Ohaupo, Ngatea, and Southland to pick your own blueberries.
While you're there, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in a delicious blueberry ice cream and enjoy a snack at their on-site cafe. Blueberry Country takes pride in their state-of-the-art packing equipment developed by BBC Technologies. It allows them to have greater control over the processing, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Headquartered just 20 minutes south of Hamilton, their main processing facilities are located on-site, ensuring that the blueberries are grown, harvested, frozen, and packed in one place.
