About Bluebird Theater
Bluebird Theater is a historic venue located at 3317 East Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado. Originally built in 1913 and named after John Thompson, a prominent Denver grocer and druggist, the theater has been an important part of the community for over a century. Initially a movie house, it has transformed over the years and now stands as a mecca for music.
With its tiered layout and a balcony that overlooks the entire space, the Bluebird Theater offers an intimate and immersive live music experience. In 2006, AEG Live took over and made significant upgrades to the production aspects of the room, ensuring top-notch audio and visual quality for performances. As part of AEG Live, one of the nation's largest concert promotion and touring companies, Bluebird Theater hosts a wide range of contemporary music performances, special events, and multimedia productions.
