Ouster is a lidar technology company developing digital sensors and software for applications including smart cities, transportation, security, industrial operations, automotive systems, robotics, and drones. Ouster BlueCity is the company’s intelligent transportation system for municipalities and transportation agencies. Using Ouster 3D lidar and proprietary AI software, it detects and tracks pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, and trams, supporting traffic management, signal control, road safety, and operational planning. The system can create live digital traffic twins, deliver edge and cloud analytics, and provide event recordings and deployment monitoring through the BlueCity Portal. Privacy features blur pedestrians and cyclists in 2D and 3D visualizations.

The BlueCity offering includes OS1 Max sensors, edge hardware and software, mounting components, and analytics licenses, with integration options for traffic controllers and other systems. Ouster also offers lidar sensors such as OS0, OS1, OS2, and OSDome, alongside software including Gemini and Ouster Studio.
