Blue Earth Compost is a family-owned small business that was founded on a mission to protect the environment. They believe that food scraps should not be wasted in landfills or incinerators but instead recycled into nutrient-rich compost. By doing so, they contribute to the life cycle of the soil and support the growth of healthy plants and people.

Blue Earth Compost offers accessible composting solutions for residential, commercial, municipal, and event settings. Their commitment to positive change extends beyond composting, as they strive to improve the environment, create green jobs, engage with the community, and advocate for social and environmental issues. They have even set a goal to become a zero emissions business by 2030, running all operations on renewable energy sources.

Certified as a B Corp, Blue Earth Compost meets rigorous standards for social and environmental performance. They actively engage with communities through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and activist organizations, providing recycling education and compost donations. Additionally, they prioritize fair wages and career opportunities for individuals facing employment barriers.
