Founded in 1989, the volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit Blue Legacy has four divisions under the name Blue Forge Group each focused on different mediums: film, gaming, print, and music. For more than thirty years we've been dedicated to empowering and educating artisans marginalized due to race, age, ability, economics, and sexuality.

About Blue Forge Group
Blue Legacy is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1989 and based in Port Orchard, Washington. Through its four creative divisions, collectively known as Blue Forge Group, the organization works to educate and empower artisans marginalized because of race, age, ability, economic circumstances, or sexuality. Its programs support authors, filmmakers, actors, musicians, and game designers across a range of media.
Blue Forge Films develops film, theatre, television, and web series; Blue Forge Gaming focuses on tabletop, trading card, and computer games; Blue Forge Press offers print books, ebooks, and audiobooks across a dozen genres; and Blue Forge Sound features music in multiple genres and podcasts on diverse topics. Related programs include Seriously Cereal, an award-winning Saturday morning childrenโs show; Blue Village Acting Troupe for performers and filmmakers of all ages and experience levels; and BlueFlix, where audiences can watch free or purchase premium independent films. Blue Legacy also runs BlueFair, a marketplace for artisans and craftspeople, and Create4U, a free creative club for teens and young adults.
