Blue Hat Ministries, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving disabled and dependent adults in and around Mason County, Michigan. Its mission is to help people thrive by providing person-centered support across different stages of life and redefining guardianship to address the whole person. The organization’s four care pillars combine practical assistance, advocacy, and community support. Services include financial management, benefits coordination, health care support, insurance navigation, scheduling, and advocacy. Blue Hat Ministries also offers transportation, personal care assistance, household cleaning, medication reminders, grocery shopping, errands, and companionship.

Through its new Thrive House, the organization provides an independent living home and supported living environment, with coordinated care, life-skills support, community integration, and supplies. Its assistance also includes emergency financial help, basic necessities, stability support, and flexible aid, alongside volunteer contributions and community generosity. Blue Hat Ministries shares its mission through stories and interviews with clients, employees, and board members, and invites people to support its work through donations, including monthly giving.
