Lindsey van der Lee

Blue Hazel Birth Services provides compassionate, nurturing, and empowering birth support and prenatal yoga in Calgary and surrounding areas. Led by birth doula Lindsey van der Lee, CD(DONA), the service centers each birthing person’s experience and supports families in making choices that feel authentic to them. Blue Hazel believes that birth matters and that continuous support should be available to every birthing person and their partner when wanted.

Recognizing that every birth is different and can be unpredictable, Lindsey takes an individualized approach rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. The service emphasizes respect for birthing preferences and considers every birth experience valid. Blue Hazel also aims to reduce barriers to care, offering low- or no-barrier birth support for people who need it and inviting them to get in touch to discuss their circumstances.

Alongside doula support, the business offers prenatal yoga. Families can contact Blue Hazel Birth Services by email or phone to inquire about support and connect with the doula
