BlueHub

BlueHub is a free environmental learning and action platform that helps people connect with seas, forests, rivers and skies. Supported by The Nippon Foundation’s Ocean and Japan Project, it aims to make the Earth’s challenges feel closer and help more people take practical steps toward a healthier planet. Seven friendly characters guide visitors through its activities, designed to make learning approachable, enjoyable and easier to sustain.

BlueHub’s services span three stages: know, play and act. Earth Session lets users ask experts questions and explore evidence-based answers, while Earth Lab offers accessible articles about nature, climate and research. Earth Quest features quizzes, and Earth Academy provides step-by-step learning courses. To help users take action beyond the screen, Earth Fes lists nature events across Japan, including walks and cleanups. Earth Vola connects cleanup groups with communities and waste collectors, initially in Okinawa. The platform also shares stories of people working for the Earth and is developing a community called Earth Crew.
