Blue Sky Flight Training

Blue Sky Flight Training is a Gippsland-based flying school offering recreational and general aviation training at Latrobe Valley Airport and West Sale Airport. With many years of flight-training experience, the school provides instruction in modern training aircraft, guided by qualified instructors. Its setting offers scenic flying across the Gippsland region, with access to coastal and inland landscapes.

Students can begin with a 30- to 60-minute Trial Instructional Flight, which includes pre- and post-flight briefings and the opportunity to take control of the aircraft. Training is competency-based and tailored to individual needs, with ground briefings and progressive instruction designed to build skills toward solo flight and a pilot certificate. Services include pilot-certificate flight training, theory lessons, flight tests, English-language testing and flight-radio licences. The school also offers gift vouchers, accommodation and training packages, and passenger and cross-country endorsements for eligible pilots. Blue Sky Flight Training supports learners from their first introductory flight through further training, with lessons available by appointment and bookings made online or by phone.
