Blue Sky Swim Studio is a swimming instruction and coaching business based at 58 High Street in Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire. It serves children and adults, from complete beginners to competitive and experienced swimmers, in a private, heated endless-pool studio. The 4.2-by-2.4-metre pool has an adjustable current, allowing learners to build confidence and practise swimming while staying in place.
Coaches Jacquie and Craig Donoghue are Swim Mastery instructors with pool and open-water experience. Their lessons address skills such as breathing, balance, water safety and stroke technique. For swimmers seeking to improve efficiency or speed, the studio offers video-based stroke analysis, with coaching and feedback to help put improvements into practice. Sessions include a 30-minute trial, a 60-minute lesson and a 90-minute swim assessment, with options for adults, children, intermediate swimmers and competitive or masters-level participants.
Blue Sky also makes its front-of-studio space available to hire for training, meetings, pop-up shops and events. The space can be booked by the hour, half-day or day.
