Bluey’s Hope 4 Horses is an animal rescue based in Currituck, North Carolina, continuing the work inspired by Bluey. The organization focuses on saving horses from livestock auctions and the slaughter pipeline, where animals may face overcrowding, neglect, disease, and malnutrition. It also helps horses whose owners can no longer care for them. Its work includes rescue, rehabilitation, and finding suitable, lasting homes for horses, donkeys, and mules.
Donations support rescue efforts and the practical care animals need, including feed, hay, veterinary and farrier services, transportation, quarantine, and emergency treatment. Supporters can donate through several listed payment options or sponsor an animal. The organization also offers horses and donkeys for adoption, aiming to place each in a safe home where it will be cared for long term.
Bluey’s Hope 4 Horses also rescues and rehomes heelers, or cattle dogs. Dogs in its care receive veterinary services, including spay or neuter procedures, core vaccinations, and microchipping, along with socialization.
