Blue Zones Project Jacksonville

Blue Zones Project Jacksonville is a community-based initiative focused on creating healthier environments to naturally guide people toward making healthier choices. By utilizing the principles learned from the world’s longest-lived cultures, we work through People, Places, Policy, and Schools to optimize the built environment, municipal policies, and social networks. We partner with various sectors such as restaurants, grocery stores, faith-based organizations, workplaces, and schools in zip codes 32206, 32208, 32209, 32210, and 32244 to foster long-term health improvements.

We offer programs and policies for school leaders, grocery stores, restaurants, faith-based organizations, and worksites to create environments that make the healthy choice, the easy choice. By introducing evidence-based programs and changes to the environment, policy, and social networks, we bring together local stakeholders and international well-being experts to measurably improve well-being.
