About Bluntmagza
Blunt Magazine is a renowned brand that has recently made a comeback after being dormant for a while. Established in 1997 by founding editor Miles Masterson, Blunt Magazine was created to bring together fans of individualistic sports and creative subcultures. From skateboarding and surfing to BMX and wakeboarding, Blunt Magazine represents a wide range of adrenaline-fueled activities. However, the brand goes beyond sports and subcultures. It also embraces a healthy dose of FU anti-authoritarianism, as well as environmental and social activism.
Blunt Magazine quickly gained a cult-like following in South Africa, becoming one of the country's most successful print publications. Known for its uncensored and no-bullshit editorial approach, Blunt Magazine broke the mold with its off-the-wall 'gonzo' style. The brand was involved in various activities, including website development, video production, movie screenings, endorsement of TV shows, and road trips.
After a brief hiatus, Blunt Magazine has returned, now under the ownership of its creator Miles Masterson. With a small team of freelancers and contributors, Blunt Magazine is breathing new life into the brand, staying true to its original vision and spreading the gospel of adrenaline sports, personal freedom, and unfiltered fun and creativity.
