Namma Metro, operated by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka responsible for implementing and operating Bengaluru’s metro rail system. Known as a convenient, environmentally friendly transport option, the network includes the Purple and Green lines, with further projects planned to expand and improve metro services across the city.

Travellers can use the Namma Metro app to plan journeys and calculate fares, while smart card users can add value through the Namma Metro, Paytm and Amazon Pay apps.
