About bnfa.ch
La Bibliothèque Numérique Francophone Accessible (BNFA) is a valuable resource dedicated to providing accessible literature for individuals who are visually impaired, blind, or have dyslexia. The BNFA offers a diverse range of products, including audiobooks, large print books, and digital braille, ensuring that reading is inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. The library's extensive catalog features various genres such as adventure, classic literature, science fiction, and poetry, catering to all interests and age groups.
As of June 1, 2025, new registrations for BNFA will cease as the library prepares to transition its entire collection to Eole, the site of the Valentin Haüy media library, after being acquired by the Association Valentin Haüy. Existing users can continue to utilize the BNFA services until its closure in early 2026. For anyone looking for adapted reading materials tailored to those with reading disabilities, registration on Eole is currently available.
