Boards for Education, formerly known as Governors for Schools, is a dedicated charity focused on enhancing educational outcomes for children, young people, and adult learners by strengthening governance in schools. We prioritize effective governance by placing skilled volunteers, including school governors, academy trustees, and college governors, across educational institutions in England and Wales. Our comprehensive services cater to various needs; whether you are seeking a school governor, an experienced chair, or a trustee with specialized skills, we provide tailored support.

Additionally, we facilitate volunteer induction and offer resources like eLearning modules and webinars to equip board members with essential skills. Funded by trusts, foundations, and generous individuals, our mission is driven by the belief that every child deserves quality education through strong governance. Through partnerships with local authorities and academy trusts, we aim to create impactful educational environments. Join us in our commitment to improve educational governance and outcomes for all learners.
