Boathouse Finder

BoathouseFinder is an online resource for discovering rowing clubs and exploring the history of rowing directories. It grew out of a series of print publications created when finding information about places to row was difficult. Its Rower’s Almanac began in 1996, during the early years of the internet, and provided a directory of rowing clubs, colleges, universities, junior teams, high schools, associations, coaches, and rowing companies. The directory initially focused on the United States and later expanded to include organizations around the world.

BoathouseFinder’s featured products are print editions of The Rower’s Almanac, published across eight editions from 1996 through 2008–2009. The collection includes titles from 1996, 1997, 1998, and successive two-year editions beginning in 2000–2001. Limited editions are offered individually or as a complete collection, though several editions shown in the store are marked sold out. The site also provides information about Rower Connect and contact options, connecting visitors with the publication’s rowing-focused resources and archival material.
