BOA XR

BOA XR is an independent, cross-platform extended reality game studio based in Chennai, India. Operating as BOANERGES XR PVT LTD, the studio creates mixed reality and virtual reality games for major headsets and smart glasses, with an emphasis on playful, original experiences that make use of each device’s capabilities. Its goal is to take games beyond conventional screens and bring interactive worlds into players’ physical surroundings.

The studio has three titles in development. Pollomono is a mixed reality adventure featuring persistent creatures that appear in the player’s living space. Another project reimagines the classic snake game as a caterpillar moving across real walls and surfaces. Danji Mart is identified as BOA XR’s first virtual reality title and is coming soon. The studio also shares experiments, prototypes, and articles on topics including spatial computing, computer vision, and XR interfaces. BOA XR welcomes feedback and partnership enquiries, as well as conversations about the future of XR gaming. It also provides a contact channel for internship and career enquiries.
