Bobbun Books is a UK children’s book publisher based in London, featuring picture books by author and illustrator Cate Douglas. Its titles are aimed at young children, with stories designed to encourage imagination and make shared reading enjoyable.
The publisher’s books include Poppy’s Tail, a playful rhyming story about Poppy trying different animal tails before inventing her own, and Brave in a Cave, which follows a community of boats in Curly Harbour as two baby boats get into a frightening adventure. Both titles are available to buy through the Bobbun Books shop.
Alongside its books, Bobbun Books offers a furry rainbow tail inspired by Poppy’s Tail. The accessory can be purchased on its own or in a gift pack with the book and a bookmark, giving children a chance to act out the story. The company also offers school visits, bringing Poppy’s Tail to life in the classroom with the author. Its website includes activities, reviews, and information for schools, as well as a blog and contact details.
