Bobine & Poésie is the sewing and interior-decoration studio of Anne-Cécile Beurier, based in Pommeret near Saint-Brieuc, France. Drawing on professional training dating from 2001 and 22 years of experience, Anne-Cécile combines textile craftsmanship with a personal, made-to-measure approach. She founded the studio in 2016 to offer clothing alterations, furnishings sewing and custom textile creations.
The studio makes curtains in a range of styles, including eyelet and wave curtains, Roman blinds and Japanese panels. Other projects include cushion covers, chair seats, armchair covers and custom sofa covers. Each piece is created with care to bring comfort and harmony to a home, with inspiration drawn from nature and an appreciation for natural materials and colours.
For furnishing projects, Anne-Cécile visits clients at home to understand their space and requirements, take window measurements and present fabric and sheer-curtain samples. She works with clients to find a style suited to their preferences and interior. The atelier is open by appointment, and estimates are free.
