Bobs Woods and Wickers

Bobs Woods and Wickers is a West Chester, Pennsylvania, craft business creating handmade items in the USA, with a focus on Nantucket-style baskets, lathe-turned wooden bowls, and custom woodworking. Its work combines practical function with artistry, offering distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces that can also make thoughtful gifts. The maker has woven Nantucket-style baskets since 2005 and, as a self-taught basket maker, has completed more than 300 baskets.

After retiring in 2016, the maker began woodworking and developed an interest in woodturning, woodworking, and basket weaving. Bobs Woods and Wickers invites customers to get in touch to discuss a unique basket, bowl, or woodworking project. The business also shares its craft through workshops, including instruction in Nantucket basket weaving and woodturning fundamentals; its site additionally lists a beginner pysanky egg class.

The maker is a member of Keystone Woodturners and holds Master Artisan status with the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. Products and work are featured in a project gallery, and the maker participates in craft shows and events
