Bobteam Klein

Bobteam Julian Klein is a developing German bobsleigh team led by pilot Julian Klein, who grew up and lives in Berchtesgaden. Since September 2022, Klein has pursued the sport at a competitive level, building on a lifelong interest in athletics and a range of seasonal sports. After competing at the 2024 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Gangwon, South Korea, he set his sights on establishing his own two-man and four-man teams and progressing in elite bobsleigh.

The team’s preparation includes intensive track sessions, strength and conditioning work, and training camps organized by the Bavarian Bobsleigh and Luge Association and the German Bobsleigh and Sled Sports Federation. Recent experience includes European Cup appearances as a brakeman, track tests connected with World Cup events, and reserve duties at World Cups in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Innsbruck, and Winterberg. Klein was also a four-man junior world silver medallist in St. Moritz as a brakeman for Tobias Dostthaler’s team.
