Boddington Lions Rodeo is a community event organised by the Boddington Lions and held at the Boddington Rodeo Grounds in Western Australia. Established in 1977, it has become a major fixture on the town’s calendar and is part of the ABCRA National circuit. The full championship rodeo features more than $60,000 in prize money and is described by organisers as Australia’s largest one-day rodeo.
The event brings together rodeo competition, entertainment and activities for the whole family. The 2026 program marks the rodeo’s 50th anniversary and includes a Friday Night Festival with food trucks, rides and games, Saturday community markets, the rodeo and an evening Bushman’s Ball featuring live music, food trucks and a licensed bar. A Sunday rodeo breakfast is also scheduled. The organisation shares updates about event programming, tickets, camping and entertainment through its website and social media. Its grounds were built by Lions Club members and local residents, reflecting the event’s strong community roots.
