Bodkáčik

Bodkáčik is a Slovak association supporting families, children and young people living with skin conditions. It provides information, practical guidance and a community space for people affected by diagnoses including atopic eczema, hidradenitis, ichthyosis, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Its website brings together educational articles, personal stories and useful advice, including content about managing health concerns and navigating everyday life with a skin condition.

The association also shares tried-and-reviewed recommendations and information about related resources, medicines and partner organizations. Through its activities, Bodkáčik promotes awareness and understanding of skin health. Its events include Skin Day – Day of Touch, a nationwide social and educational initiative. The site also features updates on completed activities and current topics, and offers downloadable documents, such as forms relating to donations of two percent of income tax and the association’s annual activity plan. Bodkáčik’s work is aimed at people affected by skin conditions and those who want to support them, helping connect families with information, shared experiences and opportunities to take part in community initiatives.
