Bodmin Airfield, home of Cornwall Flying Club Ltd, is a general aviation airfield near Bodmin, Cornwall, welcoming pilots, members and visitors arriving by air or road. The club promotes general aviation across Devon and Cornwall and aims to provide a safe, friendly environment for flying. Its services include air experience flights and training for the Private Pilot’s Licence and National Private Pilot’s Licence.
The fleet includes Cessna 172 and Cessna 152 aircraft, as well as a Magni gyro, with aircraft and instructor booking available. Visiting pilots must arrange prior permission through the website before departure. The airfield is normally open seven days a week, with sunset access by arrangement.
On site, the AeroDine café welcomes visitors and serves hot food during set hours, while guests are invited to watch aircraft in flight. Bodmin Airfield is also a designated County Wildlife Site, recognized for its traditional wildflower meadow and the club’s stewardship of its flora and fauna
