Body in Motion

Body In Motion is a rehabilitation and wellbeing provider serving communities across the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Taranaki. Its team supports people to relieve pain and stiffness, recover from injury, and improve or maintain movement at work, home and play. Services include physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, hand and occupational therapy, pelvic and women’s health, cancer rehabilitation, pain management, psychology, acupuncture and shockwave therapy.

The practice also offers running analysis, breathing optimisation, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, and injury prevention for children and adolescents. Pilates is available through Encore Pilates, which offers Reformer and matwork classes at three studios in Tauranga. For workplaces, Body In Motion provides injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, manual handling training, pre-employment assessments, vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work support.

Community programmes include falls prevention and Activity with Arthritis, alongside services such as inpatient care in Waikato and Training for Independence. Body In Motion also works with ACC integrated care pathways for musculoskeletal injuries, helping eligible people access coordinated support during recovery
