Boely Pisciculture

Boely Pisciculture is a family-run fish farm in Mézières-en-Brenne, in France’s Indre department, with more than 30 years of experience. Located in the Brenne Regional Natural Park, the business serves local authorities, private pond owners, fishing associations and professionals. Its seasonal services include pond harvesting and restocking from October to March, and supplying live bait for predator fishing from May to February.

Customers can also purchase ornamental fish, including koi carp, and fish products such as fish rillettes and freshwater prawns. The team provides pond fertilisation, water-quality monitoring and advice on managing water and the surrounding environment, with attention to fish welfare and sanitary standards. Boely also welcomes visitors for scheduled tours and shares its aquaculture expertise with trainees.

Alongside the fish farm, the business operates the fully equipped Gîte de l’Halbrandiere, a peaceful rural rental with three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and veranda.
