There were two Boer wars, one ran from 16 December 1880 - 23 March 1881 and the second from 9 October 1899 - 31 May 1902 both between the British and the settlers of Dutch origin (called Boere, Afrikaners or Voortrekkers) who lived in South Africa. These wars put an end to the two independent republics that they had founded.

The Boer War brand encapsulates a significant era in South African history, marked by the two pivotal conflicts between British forces and the Dutch-origin settlers known as Boers, Afrikaners, or Voortrekkers. The First Boer War (1880-1881) ended with the Boers gaining self-governance in the Transvaal after a series of tactical victories, including the notable Battle of Majuba Hill. The Second Boer War (1899-1902) was a response to escalating tensions that arose from British interests in gold deposits and the influx of non-Boer settlers.
This conflict saw the elusive Boers adopt guerrilla tactics as they resisted British attempts to consolidate power in the region. The brand's offerings include in-depth historical analyses, detailed timelines of battles, and personal accounts from both British and Boer perspectives. It also highlights the broader implications of these conflicts on modern South Africa and commemorates the legacy of those involved through various educational resources and memorials
