Boerenvreugd is the most enchanting children's farm in Noord-Holland and the surrounding areas. Owned by the Stichting Kinderboerderij Aalsmeer (SKBA) and run entirely by volunteers, Boerenvreugd has evolved into an educational, recreational, and versatile organization since the early 1990s. Situated in the Hornmeerpark in Aalsmeer, Boerenvreugd boasts a diverse and healthy collection of animals, including goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, peacocks, turkeys, and three donkeys.

Each animal has a suitable habitat, and visitors are invited to observe, interact, and learn about them. In addition to the captivating animal experiences, Boerenvreugd features an expansive outdoor playground with age-appropriate equipment. Parents can relax on the cozy terrace while keeping an eye on their children.

The farm’s shop offers delicious coffee and a variety of snacks. The farm organizes exciting events where families can engage in crafts, games, and more. Mini-exhibitions in the traditional farmhouse and a reading corner provide both parents and children with the opportunity to delve into farm-focused books.
