Bergen og Omland Friluftsråd (BOF) is a brand that focuses on establishing and maintaining new outdoor areas for the public to enjoy. Their main goal is to promote the importance of outdoor life, improve outdoor culture, and increase the prevalence of outdoor activities. They also work to collect and remove marine debris in collaboration with various partners.

BOF collaborates with participating municipalities, public agencies at different levels, and interested organizations to achieve their objectives. As an intermunicipal collaboration with 12 member municipalities in the Bergen region, BOF has successfully established 253 outdoor areas since 1937. These areas include bathing spots, hiking areas, harbors, rental houses, ski trails, and coastal paths.

Additionally, BOF offers various services such as house rentals, equipment rentals, and an online store. They actively engage in activities and competitions both on land and in water, promoting learning and enjoyment in the outdoors.
